Black Series Launches With XOP Single Cask

Douglas Laing has released their XOP Black Series Springbank Vintage 1994 as the first whisky in their Black Series.

The XOP Black Series Springbank Vintage 1994 is from a single cask and was aged in an ex-Sherry hogshead and has been bottled at 47.7% alcohol by volume [95.4 proof] and is said to contain notes of chocolate, fruit and “subtle” smoke.

Only 148 bottles of the XOP Black Series 1994 Springbank single cask Scotch whisky will be made available in Asia and Europe for $1015 per bottle.
