Blue Run Produces Glimmer
The newly operational Kentucky-based Blue Run Spirits has released Glimmer – a new limited edition bourbon finished in gin barrels – as the distillery’s second-ever release. Situated in Georgetown, Kentucky, Blue Run Spirits was founded in 2020 and has been part of the Molson Coors’ spirits division since 2023.
Glimmer is Kentucky straight bourbon finished in toasted and charred American oak barrels that were previously used to age Barr Hill Tom Cat gin for seven to 12 months, then bottled at 51.6% alcohol by volume [103.2 proof] before producing notes said to convey botanical and pine as well as cardamom, cocoa and honey.
Blue Run Glimmer is being made available nationwide in the USA for $150 per bottle.
