Compass Box Debuts Experimental Whisky
London-based bottler Compass Box has released a new limited edition experimental grain whisky that contains a one-third portion of spirit made from 100% peated malted barley, sourced from Loch Lomond Distillery.
Compass Box Experimental Grain Whisky was aged in re-charred barrels and hogsheads, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of crème brûlée, smoke and spice.
Only 6,142 bottles of Compass Box Experimental Grain Whisky are being made available from the Compass Box website [www.compassboxwhisky.com] for $135 per bottle.
