Compass Box Gets Stranger & Stranger With Juveniles
Compass Box has released a pair of whiskies dubbed Stranger & Stranger and Juveniles.
Compass Box’s Stranger & Stranger was created in collaboration with London design agency Stranger & Stranger and consists of 99% liquid from the three Speyside single malt distilleries along with a dollop of one-year-old grain whisky spirit from the Girvan distillery.
Compass Box’s Stranger & Stranger was matured in an “experimental” toasted and charred American oak barrel, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, custard and dark sugars.
Compass Box Juveniles is a malt Scotch whisky derived from four distilleries and named after a collaboration with Paris-based wine bar Juveniles Bistrot à Vins. Compass Box Juveniles has been bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of barley sugar, pear and vanilla.
Only 4802 bottles of Compass Box Stranger & Stranger are being made available worldwide – with an allotment set aside for a USA launch in March 2019 – for $200 per bottle.
Only 14,894 bottles of Compass Box Juveniles are being made available for $150 per bottle.
