Dewar’s Releases Caramel-Free Single Malts
Dewar’s will release a slew of caramel-free single malt Scotch whiskies from four distilleries over the next few months. Beginning in October and ending in mid-2015, Dewar’s will launch a potential total of 19 whiskies along with another pair slated for 2016 and 2017, respectively.

Altmore 12YO, 21YO (a travel retail exclusive) and 25YO Highland single batch single malts will be released in October 2014, and an 18YO, 30YO and 35YO (of which there is only a limited supply) in 2015.
Craigellachie 13YO, 17YO, 19YO (a travel retail exclusive), 23YO Speyside single malts will be released later this year with possibly a 31YO and even a 51YO from a single cask.
Deveron (from the Macduff distillery located on the banks of the River Deveron) will first release a 12YO, 18YO and 25YO in January 2015 [in blue glass bottles], then a 30YO and 40YO possibly in 2016 and a 50YO in 2017. All single batch, single bottlings.
Royal Brackla (the first of only three distilleries to earn a Royal Warrant in 1835 from King William IV) 12,YO, 16YO and 21YO Highland single batch single malts will be released in March 2015 with possibly, depending upon stock, a 30YO in a second batch. This whisky will be finished in Oloroso and PX sherry casks.
