Four On The Floor Now For Ballantine’s With Addition Of Glentauchers

Ballantine’s uses four whiskies in its 17-Year-Old blended scotch whisky and one of those is the single malt Glentauchers whisky – which Ballantine’s has just released as a limited edition on its own, following the other three [Scapa, Miltonduff and Glenburgie] which were previously released as standalones. Glentauchers originates from the manually operated Glentauchers Distillery in Scotland’s famed Speyside whisky producing region, and typically produces a whisky with berry and citrus notes from its American oak casks.

Ballantine’s 17-Year-Old Signature Distillery Glentauchers Limited Edition costs $78 per bottle and was first launched last autumn in South Korea but is now receiving its worldwide release in May 2014.
