Gordon & MacPhail Goes Single Malt Crazy
Gordon & MacPhail will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their “Connoisseurs Choice” range, and they are doing so properly – by adding a series of single malts aged 30 years and above to the range.
Gordon & MacPhail’s new series of ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ releases are all aged to a minimum of 30 years and features single malts from various distilleries such as Mortlach, Caol Ila and Linkwood.
In addition to the “Connoisseurs Choice” premium expressions in the range, there will also be 30 more ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ single malts, matured in small batches.
As if that were not enough, Gordon & MacPhail is also releasing three new expressions in their new ‘Discovery’ range, which is supposed to be viewed as a starting point for whisky drinkers. The latest trio of releases come from the Ledaig, Bunnahabhain and Tomatin distilleries.
Prcing for ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ premium releases will begin at $650 per bottle with small batch single malts going for approximately $100 per bottle and whiskies in the ‘Discovery’ range retailing at $65 per bottle.
