How Does Lagavulin 8-Year-Old Sound?
If it sounds like music to your ears, then you are in luck because it is becoming available. Lagavulin 8-Year-Old, an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, is aged exclusively in refill American oak casks, bottled at 48% alcohol content [96 proof] and is said to have tasting notes of charred, minty, dark chocolate, and sweet smoke.
The launch of Lagavulin 8-Year-Old marks the beginning of the distillery’s 200-year anniversary celebrations, and will be launched three times during 2016 – first at the distillery this month, then in the UK in April 2016 and finally, internationally, later in 2016.
Lagavulin 8-Year-Old will be available for $70 per 750ml bottle.
