Isle Of Tiree Debuts Initial Single Malt Whisky
The newly invigorated Isle of Tiree Distillery – located in the Inner Hebrides portion of Scotland’s Hebrides island group – has released their inaugural single malt whisky after being founded in 2012 by traditional folk musicians Alain Campbell and Ian Smith and is one of Scotland’s smallest whisky distilleries.
Isle of Tiree First Release was bottled at 47% alcohol by volume [94 proof] and is said to offer notes of cinnamon, ginger, cinnamon and pepper.
Only a mere 800 bottles of Isle of Tiree First Release are being made available – 400 of which have been sold in a pre-sale – for $245 per bottle.
