Kavalan Adds Trio Of Animal-Inspired Whisky Gift Sets

Taiwan-based Kavalan has released a trio of whisky gift sets inspired by Taiwanese endangered animals – specifically, the Taiwan barbet bird, leopard cat and sika deer – naming them the Kavalan Native Species Exclusive Edition Gift Sets.

The Mikado Pheasant gift set showcases the Taiwan barbet bird and includes Kavalan Classic Single Malt in both 700ml and 50ml bottles as well as a 500ml bottle of Distillery Select No.1 Single Malt and being made available for $75.

The Sika Deer gift set spotlights the sika deer and includes a 700ml bottle of Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt and 50ml bottles of Classic Single Malt and Distillery Select No.1 Single Malt and is being made available for $55.

The Leopard Cat gift set highlights the aforementioned leopard cat and includes both a 700ml bottle of Solist Vinho Barrique Single Cask Strength Single Malt and a 50ml bottle of Wine Oak Single Malt and is being made available for $125.

The Taiwanese Native Species Exclusive Edition Gift Sets are being made available in Australia, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Guam, New Zealand and the Philippines.
