Laphroaig Debuts Elements 3.0
Islay-based Laphroaig Distillery has released 3.0 – the third single malt whisky in their Elements Series – which was born from the ashes of a long-burning kiln fire at the distillery.
Laphroaig Elements 3.0 is a single malt whisky that was bottled at 55.3% alcohol by volume [110.6 proof] and is said to impart distinct notes of chocolate and burnt caramel left over from the aforementioned fire, along with burnt peat because no fire, no matter how hot and long-lasting, can permanently burn away peat notes in a Laphroaig.
Laphroaig Elements 3.0 is being made available exclusively to pre-order from the official website [Laphroaig.com], the distillery visitor center and select retailers.
