Laphroaig has brought their 28-Year-Old to the USA.
Laphroaig 28-Year-Old was initially matured in an assortment of cask sizes before the liquid from each was transported to Sherry casks for the final year of maturation and then bottled at 44.4% alcohol by volume [88.8 proof].
Laphroaig 28-Year-Old is said to contain notes of dates, pears and peat.
Laphroaig 28-Year-Old is being made available in the USA for $800 per 750ml bottle.
