The Loch Lomond Open Special Edition 2022 was created in partnership with golfer Colin Montgomerie, matured in American oak casks before being finished in Bordeaux red wine barriques, then bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of fudge, honey, lime, peach and strawberry.

Both Loch Lomond Open single malt whiskies are being made available via the Loch Lomond website with The Loch Lomond Open Special Edition going for $55 per bottle and the Loch Lomond Open Course Edition going for $280 per bottle.
