Lochlea Unveils Our Barley Single Malt

Lochlea Distillery has released Our Barley – a single malt whisky matured in three different cask types.

Lochlea Our Barley was initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by a stint in shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR) barriques and finished off in Oloroso sherry butts before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] to produce what is said to be notes of caramel, macadamia nuts, peach and vanilla.

Lochlea’s Our Barley is being made available in the UK as well as five additional markets – beginning on July 18, 2022 – for $55 per bottle.
