Salud Spirits Releases Chichibu Whisky

Dutch distributor Salud Spirits has released a new Chichibu Japanese whisky matured in red wine casks called Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Red Wine Cask for their ‘Spirits of Salud’ label.

Salud Spirits’ Chichibu’s Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Red Wine Cask was matured in red wine casks, bottled at 59.8% alcohol by volume [119.6 proof] and is said to offer notes of almond, fudge, nougat, pear and red peppercorn.

Only 272 bottles of Salud Spirits’ Chichibu’s Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Red Wine Cask are being made available in Austria, Japan and the Netherlands.
