SMWS Releases Burning Scarecrows In Sweden
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society has released their 10-year-old ‘Burning scarecrows by the sea’, a single cask malt whisky.
SMWS’ Burning Scarecrows By The Sea was matured in a refill hogshead ex-Bourbon cask and supposedly contains notes of “pebble beach, seaweed, sun-dried driftwood, bonfire, smoked mackerel and cigar boxes” on the nose, with“blow-torched pineapple and toasted marshmallows” on the palate.
Only 234 bottles of SMWS Burning Scarecrows By The Sea have been released and are available only in Sweden.
