Speyside Goes Dark With Beinn Dubh Whisky
Speyside Distillery has introduced their Beinn Dubh single malt Scotch whisky – a unique ruby-black-colored whisky named after the Celtic expression for “black mountain”. The whisky gets its signature color after having aged in toasted port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal and is said to give off notes of both fruit and chocolate before finishing off in both bitter and sweet tastes.
Speyside Distillery’s Beinn Dubh is bottled at 43% alcohol content [86 proof] and is available for $77 per 700-ml bottle.
