The Glenturret Introduces Their 2021 Range
In addition to creating a special single malt for nearby luxury hotel, The Gleneagles, The Glenturret has also released their 2021 range of single malt whiskies.
The new range of The Glenturret single malts consists of six new whiskies: Triple Wood (44% alcohol by volume – 88 proof), 10 Years Old Peat Smoked (50% alcohol by volume – 100 proof), 12 Years Old (46% alcohol by volume – 92 proof), 15 Years Old (53% alcohol by volume – 106 proof), 25 Years Old (44.3% alcohol by volume – 88.6 proof) and 30 Years Old (41.6% alcohol by volume – 83.2 proof).
The Glenturret Triple Wood is said to contain notes of candied orange peel, sweet vanilla and ginger cake, The Glenturret 10 Years Old Peat Smoked is said to contain notes of citrus, peat and smoke, The Glenturret 12 Years Old is said to contain notes of cinnamon, The Glenturret 15 Years Old is said to contain notes of apple, coconut and toffee. The Glenturret 25 Years Old is also said to contain notes of cinnamon while The Glenturret 30 Years Old is said to contain notes of toffee and vanilla but with a ‘citrus edge’.
Only 204 bottles of The Glenturret 25 Years Old and 750 bottles of The Glenturret 30 Years Old are being made available – all six of the single malt whiskies can be purchased from The Glenturret’s website.
