Torbahaig Unveils Fourth In Legacy Series
Isle of Skye-based Torabhaig Distillery has released Sound of Sleat – the fourth single malt Scotch whisky in their Legacy Series and named after the distillery’s home peninsula.
Torabhaig Sound of Sleat has been matured in ex-bourbon and new American oak casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to produce notes of apricot, orange, peat smoke and seaweed.
Only 45,000 bottles of Torabhaig Sound of Sleat are being made available globally – 7,000 are allocated to the UK market alone – for $75 per bottle.
