Wemyss Adds Vanilla And Treacle

Wemyss Malts has released two new blended Scotch whiskies – Vanilla Burst and Treacle Chest – produced from their private collection of handpicked, maturing whisky casks from various Scotland’s distilleries.

Vanilla Burst is a blend of two Speyside single malts matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Only 4800 bottles of Vanilla Burst will be made available.

Treacle Chest is a blend of two Highland single malts matured in first-fill ex-sherry hogsheads. Only 6300 bottles of Treacle Chest will be made available.

Both blended malts are bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and are available in Asian, European and UK markets for $55 [Vanilla Burst] and $60 [Treacle Chest].
