Craigellachie 13 And 19-Year-Old To Make Debuts

Two aged editions of Craigellachie Speyside single malt Scotch whisky – a 13-Year-Old and a 19-Year-Old – will be making their debuts this year, with the 19-Year-Old offered only in travel retail outlets. Making it unique in the Scotch whisky universe, Craigellachie uses only malted barley from the kiln in Glenesk [Scotland] as well as worm tub condensers to cool the liquid. The oil-fired result is a whisky heavy in sulfur and smoke tones initially but with tropical fruit notes that are said to emerge with age.

Both the Craigellachie 13-Year-Old and 19-Year-Old will be making their debut in Amsterdam this month with other European launches slated for the remainder of the year.
