Ardmore Has Two More
Ardmore has released two more whiskies specifically for the travel retail market – The Ardmore Tradition and The Ardmore Triple Wood. The Ardmore Tradition is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured in American oak casks and then also aged in 19th-century quarter casks to produce a peated whisky with spice and vanilla notes. The Ardmore Tradition is bottled at 46% alcohol content [92 proof]. The Ardmore Triple Wood is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky is so named because the whisky is matured in both of those casks but also adds a third wooden 500-liter cask, called a puncheon, to the process. The Ardmore Triple Wood has barley, peat and vanilla notes and is also bottled at 46% alcohol content [92 proof].
The Ardmore Tradition is available for $45 per bottle while The Ardmore Triple Wood is available for $70 per bottle.
