The Glendronach Reveals 30 And 40 Year Olds
Highland-based The Glendronach has released a pair of new limited-edition annual whiskies – a 30-year-old and a 40-year-old – to add to the distillery’s ultra-premium range.
The Glendronach 30-year-old was matured in a trio of sherry casks – Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and Amontillado – bottled at 46.8% alcohol by volume [93.6 proof] and is said to impart notes of cherry, marzipan and raisin.
The Glendronach 30-year-old is being made available for $1,345 per bottle.
The Glendronach 40-Year-Old 2025 Edition was also matured in a blend of sherry casks – Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez – bottled at 43.9% alcohol by volume [87.8 proof] and is said to impart notes of blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant .
Only 300 bottles of The Glendronach 40-year-old are being made available for $6,715 per bottle.
