Bruichladdich Brings Out 14-Year-Old
Bruichladdich Distillery has released Bruichladdich Islay Barley Unpeated 14 Year Old – their oldest Islay Barley release to date.
Bruichladdich Islay Barley Unpeated 14 Year Old single malt is made from barley sourced from six local farms within an eight-mile radius, matured 14 years in both American oak and French oak casks (which included ex-Sauternes and Bordeaux wine barrels) bottled at 50% alcohol by volume (100 proof) and is said to contain notes of citrus, honeycomb, melon and vanilla.
Bruichladdich Islay Barley Unpeated 14 Year Old is being made available initially in Australia for $100 per bottle before moving on to New Zealand and other worldwide markets in 2027.
