The GlenAllachie Unveils 35-Year-Old
Speyside-based The GlenAllachie Distillery has released The GlenAllachie 1990 35-year-old Cask Strength – a single malt whisky aged in a quartet of cask types.
The GlenAllachie 1990 was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry as well as virgin American oak casks, it was primarily matured in a virgin Japanese Mizunara oak cask before being bottled at 50.2% alcohol by volume [100.4 proof] and is said to impart notes of coconut, pineapple and sandalwood.
The GlenAllachie 1990 35-year-old Cask Strength is being made available via the distillery’s official website for $2,030 per bottle.
