The Balvenie Distillery has released The Third Edition – the third and final installment in The Fifty Collection.
The Fifty Collection The Third Edition is a blend of three casks, each aged for 50 years and including a European oak refill butt and an American oak hogshead, both filled in 1973, alongside an American oak barrel filled in 1974, bottled at 50.3% alcohol by volume [100.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of Manuka honey, oak and pastry.
Only a mere 45 bottles of The Balvenie The Fifty Collection The Third Edition are being made available worldwide for the bargain price of $56,560 per bottle.
