Aberfeldy Distillery Promotes Whisky Explorer Tour
Highland-based Aberfeldy Distillery is promoting a new tour of their distillery for the 2025 season which they are calling the Whisky Explorer Experience.
In addition to being the home of Aberfeldy single malt whisky, the distillery is also home to the popular Dewar’s brand of blended Scotch whisky, and the experience is intended to showcase both the Aberfeldy single malt as well as the history of Dewar’s.
The tour features an introductory film about Dewar’s legacy, an exploration of the heritage museum, a guided distillery tour [which includes behind-the-scenes access to the whisky-making process], a visit to the original 1898 warehouse buildings [including the Old Filling Store, where the Aberfeldy single malt maturation process is explained], the maturation process of Dewar’s and last, but not least, a tutored whisky tasting, highlighting five curated drams of both Dewar’s and Aberfeldy whiskies.
Tickets for The Aberfeldy Whisky Explorer Experience are now available to adults on the distillery’s website for $80 per person.
