Ardbeg Goes Sweet With Dolce
Islay-based Ardbeg Distillery has announced they will release Dolce – a whisky matured in sweet Marsala fortified wine casks – as their limited edition whisky for the upcoming 2026 Fèis Ìle.
Ardbeg Dolce was matured in the aforementioned Marsala wine casks, then bottled at 47.8% alcohol by volume [95.6 proof] and is said to offer notes of apricot, dark chocolate and marmalade.
Ardbeg Day is traditionally celebrated on the annual Festival of Music and Malt – known as Fèis Ìle – which, this year, will be May 30, 2026.
On Ardbeg Day, festival-goers can enjoy Italian delicacies, sample a limited edition whisky, play retro games, and enjoy Mediterranean street music and Scottish folk.
Ardbeg Dolce will be made available to purchase worldwide for $110 per bottle.
