Ardbeg Releases An Oa

Ardbeg has released an Islay single malt whisky called An Oa (pronounced “an oh” and named after a region near the distillery).

Ardbeg An Oa was matured in both Pedro Ximenes casks and ex-bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46.6% alcohol by volume [93.2 proof] and is said to have both sweet and smoky notes.

Ardbeg An Oa is available for $70 per bottle beginning in September 2017.
