Balblair Unveils 21 Years Old
Highland distillery Balblair has released 21 Years Old – a single malt whisky for their core range of whiskies.
Balblair 21 Years Old was initially matured for 15 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, before being sent on its way to Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts for the remaining six years of its maturation process when it was then bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to offer notes of dark chocolate, spice and tropical fruit.
Balblair 21 Years Old is being made available for $365 per 700-ml bottle.
