Barton 1792 Debuts Cognac Cask Bourbon
Kentucky-based Barton 1792 Distillery has released 1792 – a Cognac cask-finished bourbon.
Barton 1792 Cognac Cask Finish was first matured in American white oak barrels, then finished in French Cognac casks for a minimum of six months before being bottled at 47.5% alcohol by volume [95 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, banana and cherry.
Barton 1792 Cognac Cask Finish is being made available nationwide in the USA for $38 per bottle.
