Bimbers Climbs On Shoulders Of Giants
London-based Bimber has released six new whiskies for their Shoulders of Giants series, which celebrates the visionaries of our world – three of the latest six additions to the Shoulders of Giants series are exclusive to the UK, while the other three will be exclusive to Germany.
The UK-exclusive editions have been christened with artistic references while the German editions have engineering roots. All are being made available for $125 per bottle.
Bimber’s The Dreamer celebrates Vincent van Gogh, is bottled at 56.8% alcohol by volume [113.6 proof] and is said to offer notes of pineapple, toffee and vanilla. Only 335 bottles are available.
Bimber’s The Impressionist calls out Claude Monet, is bottled at 57% alcohol by volume [114 proof] and is said to contain notes of lemon, honey and white pepper. Only 279 bottles are available.
Bimber’s The Visionary salutes Leonardo da Vinci, is bottled at 57.3% alcohol by volume [114.6 proof] and is said to impart notes of dark chocolate, maraschino cherries and ground black pepper. Only 340 bottles available.
Bimber’s The Inventor drops the name of Karl Benz, was bottled at 58% alcohol by volume [116 proof] and is said to kick out notes of butterscotch, orange and tobacco leaf.
Bimber’s The Engineer plots the life of Rudolf Diesel, was bottled at 57.6% alcohol by volume [115.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of dark chocolate, smoke and vanilla.
Bimber’s The Inventor honors Nicolaus Otto, was bottled at 57.9% alcohol by volume [115.8 proof] and is said to offer notes of caramel, honeycomb and balsamic vinegar.
