Buffalo Trace Reveals Experiment Number 26 – Grains And Hops
Buffalo Trace Distillery has released the latest edition of their Experimental Series – Spirits Distilled from Grain and Hops – the 26th release in the series.
Buffalo Trace Experimental Spirits Distilled from Grain and Hops has been infused with a pair of hops – Saaz noble hops, a Czechoslovakian hop found in pilsners and Zythos, an American hop with tropical and herbal notes – for 30 minutes, then re-distilled and aged in charred white oak casks for 11 years and seven months before being bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to offer notes of citrus, oak and vanilla.
Buffalo Trace Experimental Spirits Distilled from Grain and Hops is being made available in limited quantities on select dates at the Buffalo Trace Distillery gift shop in Frankfort, Kentucky, for $47 per 375ml bottle.
