Compass Box Goes Scot-Free
London-based Compass Box has created Scot-Free – the ‘world’s first English vatted malt whisky’ – by using whiskies from six English distilleries to create the whisky.
The six distilleries Compass Box used for the whisky are: Copper Rivet Distillery, Cotswolds Distillery, East London Liquor Co, Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, The English Distillery and White Peak Distillery.
Only 61 bottles of Scot-Free [48.7% alcohol by volume – 97.4 proof] are being made available – the number 61 represents how many English whisky distilleries there are in production today – and they are all being given away to randomly selected ballot winners to commemorate St. George’s Day (on April 28, 2025).
