Cutty Sark Sends 17-Year-Old Worldwide
Old school Scotch brand Cutty Sark has released Cutty Sark 17 – a triple-cask-matured 17-year-old blend of a collection of whiskies using bourbon casks as well as sherry and port wine casks.
Cutty Sark 17 is a blend of malt whiskies and grain whisky matured in the aforementioned trio of casks, bottled at 42.3% alcohol by volume [84.6 proof] and is said to exude notes of cherry, chocolate and plum.
Cutty Sark 17 is being made available worldwide for $120 per bottle.
