Drambuie is a whisky liqueur with a recipe blend consisting of aged Scotch whisky, heather honey and various spices that was originally created in 1745 and passed along to the MacKinnon family in 1914 before the family sold it to William Grant & Sons.

William Grant & Sons own the Glenfiddich and The Balvenie brands of Scotch whisky as well as Tullamore D.E.W. Irish whiskey.
