Glen Moray Harvests Forbidden Fruit
Speyside-based distillery Glen Moray has harvested Forbidden Fruit – a single malt whisky finished in Calvados casks that they will release in April 2026 when it will become the third whisky in Glen Moray’s Xperience Collection [joining Phoenix Rising and Twisted Vine].
Glen Moray Forbidden Fruit was initially matured in French oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in French oak casks previously used to mature the French apple brandy, Calvados, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to offer notes of green apple, toffee and vanilla.
Glen Moray Forbidden Fruit will be made available throughout the UK for $45 per bottle.
