Glenfiddich Becomes Barrel Buddies With Somerset Cider Brandy

Glenfiddich has teamed with the Somerset Cider Brandy company in a deal which will allow Glenfiddich to use Somerset’s barrels to mature their whisky over the course of the next year.

Specifically, Somerset will supply 18 cider brandy barrels to Glenfiddich – enough to produce 1800 gallons of whisky [good for 18,000 bottles of whisky] – to age their single malt Scotch whisky.
