Glengoyne Offers Mizunara Oak Finish Whisky
Glengoyne Distillery has released a 16-year-old Glengoyne single malt finished six years in Japanese Mizunara oak as an addition to their Glengoyne Oak Masters’ Series.
Glengoyne Mizunara Oak was initially aged for 10 years in first-fill sherry and refill casks, then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak from Hokkaido for the final six years, bottled at 53.4% alcohol by volume [106.8 proof] and is said to impart notes of coconut, licorice and vanilla.
Glengoyne Mizunara Oak is being made available worldwide in August 2025 for $400 per bottle.
