Glengoyne Offers White Oak Whiskies
Glengoyne Distillery has released a pair of whiskies – Glengoyne White Oak and Glengoyne White Oak 24-Year-Old – as part of their introductory White Oak range featuring whiskies matured in American first-fill bourbon and virgin oak casks.
Glengoyne White Oak was matured in the aforementioned American first-fill bourbon and virgin oak casks, bottled at 47.8% alcohol by volume [95.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, ginger and pineapple.
The limited edition Glengoyne White Oak 24-Year-Old was also matured in American first-fill bourbon and virgin oak casks and bottled at 47.8% alcohol by volume [95.6 proof] and is said to contain notes of coconut, lemon and vanilla.
The Glengoyne White Oak is being made available worldwide for $70 per bottle.
The limited edition Glengoyne White Oak 24-Year-Old White Oak, however, is only being made available through selected retailers worldwide as well as on the company’s website for $555 per bottle.
