Single Cask Adds 8 New Taste Master to Whisky Panel
With over 3000 casks stored in a warehouse in Glenrothes, The Single Cask has selected eight whisky experts to become their first-ever Taste Masters to help with the noshing, tasting, bottling, and creation of their single cask whiskies.
A Fife-based business, The Single Cask sets out to simplify the process of selecting a whisky by categorizing its bottles into five mood categories: cheerful, playful, bold, curious, and easy-going.
In collaboration with The Single Cask specialist team, each Taste Master brings something unique to the table, as a team of flavor experts whose job it is to tell the story behind each unique whisky and define the mood category of that whisky.
The Single Cask’s collection includes bottlings from Bruichladdich, Glenrothes, Ardmore, Tobermory, and Caol Ila.
