Gordon & MacPhail To Reveal Glenlivet 85-Year-Old
UK-based independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail will release an 85-year-old Glenlivet Scotch whisky – what they are claiming to be the world’s oldest single malt Scotch – in October 2025. The release will surpass The Macallan’s 84-year-old Time: Space, which was released in September 2024.
The Glenlivet 85-year-old single malt Scotch whisky was bottled at 43.7% alcohol by volume [87.4 proof].
Only 125 decanters of the whisky are being filled from the ancient 1940 cask and Christie’s New York will auction decanter number one in November 2025.
