Here’s 5 & 20 Rye In Your Eye

Whiskies are coming both left and right out of the woodwork these days and one of the newest whiskies to emerge will be the rye whiskey from new whiskey distiller Five & Twenty Spirits in upstate New York [specifically, Westfield]. Five and Twenty is planning both a release of an unaged corn whiskey and a 16-month-aged rye whiskey that will be emerging from its new charred American oak barrels in a few weeks. Currently, both whiskies will have only limited availability in the New York state area but Five and Twenty is expecting greater distribution in 2014.

5 & 20’s rye whiskey is scheduled to make its public debut on September 22, 2013.
