Highland Park Reveals Orkney-Sourced Heather Whisky

Highland Park has released Highland Park Cask Strength: Heather – a limited edition cask strength single malt made with 100% Orkney peat-smoked barley, more specifically from Hobbister Moor – just a few miles from the distillery.

Highland Park Cask Strength: Heather was matured in both first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, bottled at 63.6% alcohol by volume [127.2 proof] and is said to offer notes of macadamia nuts, marshmallow, pepper, vanilla and, of course, smoke.

Highland Park Cask Strength: Heather is being made available for $80 per bottle.
