Johnnie Walker Shows Off Newest Edinburgh Visitor Center

Diageo officially opened all eight floors of their Johnnie Walker visitor center located on Princes Street in Edinburgh.

The new $255 million Johnnie Walker visitor center is expansive – 71,500 square feet in all – and Diageo has employed more than 150 employees, who speak 23 languages between them. The building includes a ‘state-of-the-art’ retail space, a cellar with casks of maturing whisky and not one, but two rooftop bars, one – the Explorers’ Bothy whisky bar – is stocked with 150 different whiskies, and the other – the 1820 cocktail bar – features a terrace overlooking Edinburgh.
