Kavalan Releases Pair Of Mizunara-Casked Whiskies

Taiwan-based Kavalan has released a pair of Mizunara oak-casked single malt whiskies – one peated and one unpeated – in a collaboration with Japanese artist Takahide Komatsu.

Both the peated and unpeated editions of Kavalan Mizunara Oak Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky are being made available in 700ml bottles with the unpeated edition touting notes of cinnamon, coconut, mango, pineapple and sandalwood.

Meanwhile, the peated edition is said to contain notes of peach and smoke.

Both single malt whiskies are being made available either individually or in a limited ‘collector’s double set’ with labels hand painted and signed by Komatsu.
