Lakes Introduces Port-Casked Whisky Colheita

Lakes has released a new port-casked single malt whisky as part of their Whiskymaker’s Editions series called Colheita.

Lakes’ Whiskymaker’s Editions Colheita is named that due to being made using casks of Colheita Port, an aged tawny Port made exclusively of grapes from a single vintage.

Lakes The Whiskymaker’s Editions Colheita Port was bottled at 52% alcohol by volume [104 proof] and is said to contain notes of cinnamon, orange and Santa Rosa plums.

Only 5400 bottles of Lakes’ The Whiskymaker’s Editions Colheita are being made available for $85 per 700ml bottle [available to purchase from The Lakes Distillery’s website].
