Mortlach Emerges From Single Malt Shadows
Mortlach single malt has typically been used as a blending element in other whiskies [you can usually find it nestling within Johnnie Walker bottles] with only a few bottles of the single malt produced on its own for limited distribution. But that will all change in 2014 as the uniquely distilled Mortlach single malt whisky will not only get produced for wider distribution but will also be on the receiving end of four expressions – Mortlach Rare Old, Mortlach Special Strength, Mortlach 18-Year-Old and Mortlach 25-Year-Old.
Although no pricing has yet been established, the four Mortlach single malt whisky expressions will become available in selected markets in 2014.
