Old Forester Unveils 117 Series Bourbon
Old Forester has added Old Forester Triple Char Kentucky Straight Bourbon to their 117 series. Old Forester Triple Char Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the first bourbon to emerge from their distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. The 117 Series features experimental creations and/or unusual cask finishes.
Old Forester Triple Char Kentucky Straight Bourbon has been aged in new American oak casks charred for three times longer than usual, bottled at 57.7% alcohol by volume [115.4 proof] and is said to impart notes of cardamom, cinnamon, honeysuckle and pecan.
Old Forester Triple Char Kentucky Straight Bourbon is being made available for $65 per 375ml bottle.
