The Macallan is taking their rare cask bottlings and moving them into three Rare Cask batches with each of the three Rare Cask batches originating from first-fill Sherry-seasoned oak casks. Highland Park Distillery has revealed a single malt distilled in 1964 in a combination of two Spanish sherry hogshead casks and later enhanced with a dollop of the original 1960 vintage 50-year-old Highland Park.
